Miacomet’s
unique Real Feel product line, company business development,
and innovative vision has been spearheaded by a marketing
and creative team with years of experience in the interactive
gaming world.
Chris Meredith, the co-founder, Creative Director, and
Chief Technology Officer of Miacomet, began exploring
the Real Feel concept as a reaction to the lack of authentic
gaming peripherals available in the market.
Meredith’s interest soon led to the creation of the Real
Feel concept – authentic peripherals that utilize unique
aspects of force feedback and spatial sensory technology
to create the most realistic game simulations possible
. This interest soon grew to developing gaming software
that could best exploit the unique aspects of the Real
Feel experience. Living on Nantucket Island, Meredith
quickly focused upon his love of fishing to use the Real
Feel technology to develop the most detailed, realistic
fishing game and peripherals possible.
During the initial development of the Real Feel peripherals,
Meredith met Robert P. Foley, Co-Founder and now the Chairman
of the Board of Directors of Miacomet Inc.. Foley shared
Meredith’s excitement in the Real Feel concept, and agreed
to help support the growth of the company both financially
and with his business experience.
